Chloe Grant: F1 Academy — Paul Ricard Circuit Du Castellet
Chloe Grant, our determined young driver from Perth, made a triumphant return to the F1 Academy action following a massive accident at the previous event. Despite facing adversity, Chloe showcased her impressive skills by securing a top-10 placing in the first race at Paul Ricard on the 29th and 30th of July.
The Perth teenager displayed incredible resilience and determination as she stepped back on the track after the scary accident at Monza, where her car flew through the air and landed upside down, engulfed in flames.
At Paul ricard, in her first-ever visit to the 2.4-mile track near Marseille, driving her ART Grand Prix machine, Chloe came agonizingly close to securing pole-position, missing it by just 0.365 seconds. Throughout Race 1, she engaged in a thrilling battle for eighth place, ultimately finishing 10th at the chequered flag.
In the second race, Chloe narrowly missed another top-10 placing, falling short by less than a second. Nonetheless, she showcased her determination and talent, securing a respectable 13th place in the final race.
Chloe's debut season in the F1 Academy has been a remarkable journey, as she competes against older and more experienced single-seater drivers. Her journey will conclude at Austin in Texas, where she will participate in the event that supports the United States Formula 1 Grand Prix in October.
Chloe Grant's indomitable spirit and impressive performances serve as an inspiration to fellow racers and fans alike. Despite the challenges, she remains focused and determined, determined to continue making her mark in the world of motorsport.
