Laser Tools Racing kick off their 2022 BTCC with the launch day at Thruxton. Dexter Patterson enjoyed a lot of laps and learnt even more about the car. Aiden Moffat sadly suffered an engine failure but was able to help Dexter throughout the afternoon. The 13th of April saw the launch day of the 2022 British Touring Car Championship season at Thruxton Circuit in Hampshire. Successful sortie for Laser Tools Racing at Thruxton

Another successful sortie for Laser Tools Racing at Thruxton in Hampshire over the weekend. Our driver Ash Sutton maintains his lead of the Driver’s Championship with a healthy 30-point lead over main rival Tom Ingram. On Saturday morning the FP1 first practice session had started well but the session was stopped after another red flag. Ash had managed at this stage to put in some fast laps but LTR drivers Aiden Moffat and Carl Boardley had only just started when the session was stopped. Saturday, it was a wet and windy Thruxton Circuit in Hampshire for the opening rounds of the 2021 British Touring Car Championship. Early on Saturday morning there was over 9mm of rain in a driving wind and things were not looking great unless you love seat of the pants, technically demanding racing. Luckily we have a team that are brilliant in just these circumstances and drivers that are just as good. British Touring Car Championship star Aiden Moffat battled to three more solid finishes at Thruxton, Hampshire, at the weekend as his new Laser Tools Racing Infiniti Q50 continues its development for the 2020 season.Having never driven the car at the UK’s fastest circuit before, Aiden treated the two free practice sessions as testing, as he and his race engineer Federico Turrata worked through a raft of changes and improvements on the car.
