Rally Report Vale of York Stages 2021

Sunday the 12th September saw the Laser Tools Racing Rally team head for York Raceway for the 5th round of the 2021 championships the Vale of York Stages Rally, covering 6 stages on some very fast and challenging surfaces and with a full entry of 69 competitors it would be a tough day for all the competitors. Rex Pets Flying Fortress Rally 2021

For the next round off the 2021 championships the Laser Tools Rally Team travelled south to the ex-American Air force base at Kettering for the Rex Pets Flying Fortress rally and being one of my favourite venues we were really looking forward to his one. The venue has some quite fast straights as well as some slower narrow and technical sections on the service roads through the trees. Harold Palin Memorial Rally 2021

Sunday the 3rd May was the return to rallying for the Laser Tools Racing Escort after a long break due to the Covid restrictions but the 2021 championships were finally starting. For this year we had Mick from head office at Laser sitting in the navigator’s seat which he was very much looking forward to although he said he was a little nervous. Rally Report 2020 Harold Palin Rally

Sunday the 4th October saw the Laser Tools Racing Rally Team competing again in the next round of the EMAMC championship at Fulbeck airfield near Newark. With good points scored in the last round 3 weeks previously we were hoping for a solid finish here to keep us in the championship chase for this year. The day was cold but dry but stage 1 was very slippery with a lot of loose dirt on the road from the farming activities over the previous months, this made judging the braking points for the corners very difficult but with no issues...

Rally Report MEM Malton Forest Rally 2019

On the 3rd Nov the Laser Tools Rally team headed up to the North Yorkshire forests for the 2019 Malton forest rally offering 45 miles of fast forest tracks over 2 loops of three stages and over 100 miles of liaison using the public roads and with only 3 service intervals of 15 minutes car reliability would be very important.
