Ultimate Karting Championship Round 1
A last minute change in the regulations meant we also decided to do this years UKC championship we did it last year and thoroughly enjoyed it so I was pleased to be able to do this years. Due to clashes with LGM it’s now only a four round championship but will still be a lot of fun as Paul and his team put on a great event The venue was Whilton Mill so we were expecting a decent result, practice went well running in an engine and I was still quick. When we went new tyre and race motor I was...
Rye House Kart Raceway
What a day Saturday was! Saturday I competed in a 4 hour endurance race with @haase_uk chassis and modernised racing using @rpmracingenginesuk This was a completely different ball game doing long stints hauling around a heavy, twin engined kart with pit stops with my teammates, The stints were physically challenging out on track for an hour and 20 minutes. Qualifying came and I went out to give my all and managed to qualify 13th! Out of 29 other karts which was impressive for my first time out in a pro kart and I haven’t been at this track for...

Last weekend saw the first rounds of LGM at PFI kart track, Jacobs never raced at this track before and never been round it before in the wet so we knew it was going to be a hard weekend. First time running our new race number of 42. Testing went well and his pace was right up there we just needed it transferred to a race pace All heats are random grids so gotta work hard to make the main A final. Round 1 Sunday Heat 1 started 15th finished 8th Heat 2 started 3rd finished 6th Heat 3 started...
Whilton Mill Club Round 1
We spent Friday and Saturday testing at PFI ready for this weekends race so we didn’t get to test at Whilton on the Saturday, nevertheless we decided to go and race to get another race day experience on the Redspeed kart. Practice was good but only 3 laps pace was Heat 1 Started 20th finished 4th fastest lap Heat 2 Started 12th finished 6th Heat 3 Started 2nd finished 5th To many half moves and to much fighting Final Started 4th but the pole man started on the wrong side so that pushed us back to 6th it also allowed...
Young karter secures place at World Finals in Portimão
A report from our sponsored driver Jacob Ashcroft! Last weekend saw me take part in a totally new race class for me, Rotax Micro Max, this is a class for 8-11 year olds and you must hold a MSUK National race licence so I’ve had to work hard this year to complete the required 6 MSUK events to have my Interkart race licence upgraded to a National. This race was to take part on the weekend of the Rotax British Championships so a huge high profile event. The engines were all supplied by JAG Rotax and were all the same,...
